Mariana is a PostDoc researcher at PROSPER – Center of Economics for Prosperity, Católica Lisbon. She holds a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University and her research focus on Economics Education, namely skill formation, student effort and achievement gaps. Her work has been published in Economica, LSE’s academic journal. Mariana worked at the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal before her PhD, where she mainly worked on International Trade. Mariana is also an enthusiastic educator.
