Lucas Niven

While still enrolled in his Master’s in Environmental Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Lucas started his career in the banking industry working in corporate and investment banking in an operational role. On that journey, he moved into a management support position, helping the banking operations department on the nearshoring and optimisation of several teams.

After five years, he aimed to work for smaller companies, helping them find solutions to grow their business and create a positive impact on society. Following time working in the inflight entertainment field, Lucas became passionate about Forward’s mission and view on the current status of Higher Education Institutions, and accepted the challenge of being part of a team that wants to bring about change for the better.
