Meet Laetitia from Germany

From Schorndorf, Germany, Laetitia brings an international outlook shaped by experiences across Europe and Japan. She attended a summer language programme in Oxford, worked in Greece, cared for children in Italy and Spain, and completed a language and teaching internship in Osaka. She has learned to approach new environments with curiosity and openness. Living abroad has meant more than discovering new places. It has taught her independence, adaptability, and how to connect with people from different backgrounds.
Laetitia’s interest in Psychology centres on how people think, feel, make decisions, and respond to change. Tutoring younger students and supporting children with special educational needs deepened that curiosity. It also taught her the importance of patience, structure, and adapting communication to each individual. These experiences strengthened her desire to understand human behaviour and help others feel capable when facing unfamiliar challenges.
Community involvement has also been an important part of her journey. She co-founded Mission Happy Kids, a charitable organization supporting disadvantaged children in Romania, and helped lead initiatives for a more inclusive school environment. Outside the classroom, she enjoys tennis, horseback riding, chess, and painting, alongside a creative interest in theatre.

Why did she join Forward College?

Forward College appealed to Laetitia because it treats international experience as a meaningful part of education. For her, studying abroad is an opportunity not only to develop academically, but also to grow through new perspectives, greater independence, and connections across cultures. Her first weeks of induction reinforced her enthusiasm for this approach and left her excited about what lies ahead.

Best memory at Forward College

One of Laetitia’s favourite memories is the first day of induction, when she met her fellow students through the “Olympic Games” organized by previous Student Ambassadors. It was a fun, memorable way to get to know everyone and begin her Forward journey.
