Georgia
Meet Georgia from Germany
Georgia is a first-year student in our Economics and Politics BSc programme.
During high school in Germany, she focused on languages, studying English, French, and Spanish, while also taking an extra course on psychology. She was a member of a climate working group and led campaigns to make her school more environmentally friendly, including projects to reduce waste, organize jumble sales, and invite professors to give talks to educate students.
Beyond her classes, Georgia participated in MUN conferences in New York City (Change the World MUN) and Oxford (Oxford Global MUN). She also played the bassoon in two orchestras.
Why did she join Forward College?
The opportunity to study in three different countries was a key factor in Georgia’s choice of Forward College. She believes this will enable her to broaden her horizons and thrive in an international environment. Furthermore, the accreditation from the LSE, combined with the more personal teaching style—particularly the Oxbridge approach—appealed to her, as it fosters connections with professors and creates a comfortable environment for discussion.
Outside of Forward College
After Forward College, Georgia plans to pursue a career in the diplomatic field or work with non-governmental organizations and companies.
