Carolina
Meet Carolina from Germany
Carolina is a third-year student in our Double Bachelor’s in International Relations & Politics and Business & Leadership. After graduating from high school, she worked at a political foundation in Berlin, where she organized week-long dialogue programmes involving German and international institutions, politicians, jurists, and journalists.
After this, she embarked on the 800km Way of Saint James through France by herself, an experience that strengthened her self-reliance and allowed her to meet people from diverse backgrounds.
As part of her PBL project during her first year at Forward College, Carolina created Connecta Network, an initiative aimed at improving fairness and equality in local businesses through interactive workshops.
Why did she join Forward College?
Carolina joined Forward College to gain experience in political thought and further explore her interest in philosophy. She aspires to join organisations like the Centre for Foreign Feminist Policy to research the links between intersectional feminism and politics.
Outside of Forward College
Carolina is an avid reader and accomplished writer, with some of her short stories published in an Austrian magazine. She loves spending time in nature. Her other hobbies include swimming, playing tennis, and diving into philosophical concepts that make her curious and reflective about life.
