Carolina

Carolina is a Double Bachelor’s student on our International Relations & Politics and Business & Leadership program.

Professional Experience
After her high school graduation, she worked for a political foundation in Berlin, organizing week-long dialogue programs between German and international institutions, politicians, jurists, and journalists.

Personal Journey
After this, she undertook the 800km Way of Saint James through France by herself. She found the time spent on the trip great for her self-reliance and a great way to meet and share views with a variety of people taking the pilgrimage.

Hobbies and Passions
Carolina is very sporty and loves swimming, playing tennis, and running—especially in Monsanto park in Lisbon. Spending time alone in nature brings her calm, happiness, and clarity of mind. She is an avid reader as well as an accomplished writer, having published short stories in an Austrian magazine. One of her biggest passions is philosophy, as learning about new ideas and fascinating concepts makes her curious, enthusiastic, and thoughtful about life.

Future Aspirations
To gain more experience in the field of political thought, she would like to join an organization such as the Centre for Foreign Feminist Policy, which researches the links and influences between intersectional feminism and politics.

Project-Based Learning (PBL) Project
Carolina’s PBL project, @connecta.network, aims at improving local businesses in regard to fairness and equality through interactive workshops.
