Meet Benedetta from Italy

Benedetta is a second-year student pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations. Originally from Milan, she graduated from an ESABAC Italian-French high school. During high school, she was inspired by her involvement in initiatives such as the European Youth Parliament, which influenced her decision to pursue this field of study.

During her gap year, Benedetta backpacked across North America and worked as an assistant director at AVSI, an NGO dedicated to implementing development projects worldwide.

Recently, she took a significant step towards her vision of a career in journalism by founding The GRAD, the first student-led newspaper at Forward College. This bi-monthly publication, entirely led by students from writing to editing and layout design, aims to cultivate a sense of community among cohorts and foster thought-provoking discourse across campuses.

Why did she join Forward College?

Benedetta joined Forward College to gain expertise in international relations through the degree designed by LSE, studying in three countries, and connecting with people from different countries.

In her free time, Benedetta enjoys connecting with people, working on journalistic initiatives, and exploring ways to foster impactful communication.
