Ann-Kristin, Class of 2026

I am German-American and grew up in North Carolina before moving to Berlin, Germany in 2013. After finishing my Abitur with a focus on Spanish and English, I took a gap year where I traveled to 20 countries and volunteered in summer camps, on farms, in independent communities, and at a hostel. Those experiences really sparked my interest in people, culture, and how we understand one another, which is what inspired me to study psychology at Forward College.

I chose the Bachelor’s+ program because it integrates academic study with international experience, providing opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts.

In my free time, I love doing all kinds of sports, reading, and playing board games with friends.
