Lecturer in Macroeconomics

Daniel Hernández holds a Ph.D. in Economics from ENS Paris-Saclay. His career as an economist began with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Colombian School of Engineering in Bogota, Colombia. After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to Paris to pursue a master’s in economics through a prestigious joint program at École Polytechnique, ENSAE, and Université Paris-Saclay.

During his Ph.D., Daniel’s research centered on the transmission channels of monetary policy, with a specific emphasis on its heterogeneous effects on the banking sector. As part of his academic development, he conducted research stays at the European University Institute and Universidad del Rosario. Alongside his research, he held a position as a research fellow and teaching assistant at Université d’Évry, where he taught courses in Macroeconomic Policy, Business Cycles, and Economic Growth.

Currently, Daniel is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the LNRI project, which examines the geographical dimensions of income inequalities. He joined Forward College in the autumn of 2024.
