Dr. Esra Daşcı

Assistant Professor of Psychology
I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Forward College’s Lisbon Campus. I hold a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Exeter, UK (2019), and an MSc in Social Cognition from University College London (2014). Prior to joining Forward College, I worked as a Lecturer in Psychology in Turkey (2020-2025), where I developed my expertise in academic instruction and research supervision.
My research focuses on social identity, intergroup relations, and group-based psychosocial interventions, particularly in the context of social resilience and psychological flexibility. I bring a rich international perspective to my teaching and research, combining theoretical insights from social psychology with practical applications in organizational settings.
