Raphaela Armbruster
Academic Partnerships Advisor
Raphaela Armbruster is the Head of Admissions at UCL’s International Foundation. She has worked in international education since her postgraduate studies, has coordinated programmes, taught history of art, comparative literature and French, and developed admissions protocoles as well as widening access international scholarship schemes. Raphaela is an admissions and recruitment advisor at Forward College.
She holds a double major in poetry and educational sociolinguistics, which she studied in France at the École Normale Supérieure, Lyon II, and Sorbonne Universities. Her MPhil focused on bilingual and multilingual education policies in public and private institutional settings and was completed under the direction of Professors J-L. Chiss and D. Moore at the Sorbonne.
