Studying Politics & International Relations at Forward College has been incredible. We discuss theoretical concepts and current global issues, fostering critical thinking and understanding complexities. The interdisciplinary modules in Political Science, Philosophy, History, Business, and more have enriched my appreciation for global diversity, preparing me for future academic and professional opportunities, especially in diplomacy.

The Forward College programme has prepared me very well for my future in diplomacy and political communication. Living with a group of students from all around the world in three European capitals has definitely improved my communication skills and strengthened my adaptability. Receiving offers from universities, such as King’s College London and IE University, and finally being accepted onto my Master’s programme of choice, Political Communication at LSE, is a testament to the effectiveness of Forward College’s guidance and educational approach.

I joined Forward College because of its innovative teaching methods and focus on practical skills. I believe that studying at Forward will not only help me realise my ambitions for travel and learning but also enable me to develop the resilience and emotional intelligence required to undertake the important yet demanding work of my dreams.

I joined Forward College because I wanted to push myself within an environment of curious, passionate, and ambitious people from all over the world. The Double Bachelor’s in Politics and International Relations, as well as in Business and Leadership, has equipped me with both theoretical knowledge and autonomous practical skills. This helped me to score an internship in food security with the German Society for International Development Cooperation (GIZ) and at the UN Headquarters in New York within the Peacekeeping Department, which I will start this fall.

Forward provided me with a space where I could safely experiment, make mistakes, and push myself beyond my academic limits. The development of practical skills such as leadership, cultural adaptability, and entrepreneurship, alongside a solid academic foundation, strengthened my application to Sciences Po Paris. I am very excited to start a Master’s in International Security at the School of International Affairs next year. It will open many doors and bring me closer to my desired career in diplomacy.

My time at Forward College gave me the freedom and support to explore new ideas, challenge myself, and grow in ways I hadn’t expected. Beyond academic knowledge, I gained practical skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, and cultural adaptability that have strengthened my professional and personal growth. Forward guided me in defining my next steps, and I’m now preparing to start a Dual Master’s in Management and Marketing at Hult International Business School. I’m excited for what’s ahead and feel that everything I learned at Forward will stay with me as I start this next chapter.

I chose Forward because I wanted a university experience that combines academic excellence with practical learning in a global setting. Studying here has pushed me to apply theory to real-world challenges, collaborate across cultures, and learn from diverse perspectives. Small touches, like professors knowing you by name, personalized cups in the campus kitchen, and interactive classroom discussions instead of traditional lectures, make this a genuinely unique experience.

Forward College has provided me with an incredible opportunity to study an academically challenging course, designed by LSE, alongside an immersive cultural aspect of moving countries each academic year. My Politics and International Relations course adapts well to Forward’s flipped classroom model and pushes me to engage more deeply with the subject matter as well as my fellow students. Surrounded by an international cohort, I believe I’m getting a truly unique perspective.

I have always been fascinated by marine life, be it through documentaries, diving or my own research. In the future, I‘m looking to work in ocean conservation at the UN. For this, Forward is great in that it doesnt just provide me with a degree, but also with a valuable internship and work experience with NGO’s from my double bachelor. This knowledge and insights into international politics, NGOs, etc., will be crucial in leading my way into a good masters and hopefully a place at the UN in the future.
