Psychology is the driving science behind most digital applications and generates a growing interest from recruiters. Designed by King’s College, this degree will provide you with a contemporary approach to the study of the human mind. You will gain a thorough understanding of human behaviour and learn to apply psychological science to a variety of contemporary and social challenges. There is an emphasis on quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistical analysis with content enriched by the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. Forward's Business and Leadership Certificates include:
Business acumen and leadership develop mainly through guided practice and reflection, not lectures. This is why teaching is supporting entrepreneurial projects and not the other way round. These projects lie at the crossroad of students’ aspirations and a careful analysis of the problems they wish to solve. All projects are undertaken in teams, must demonstrate a concrete impact, and are supported by our faculty through seminars, pitches, debriefing sessions, and reports.
These certificates leverage the design thinking approach and span across four terms of your Bachelor’s degree. As part of your Bachelor’s + you will have to choose between a social or a digital entrepreneurship certificate:
Along the way, you will not only make a concrete difference; you will gain highly valuable skills for your future career such as design thinking, interviewing, project management, market analysis, teamwork, budgeting, impact evaluation, performance management…
Expected workload: approx. 7h/week on average per certificate
In the third year of your bachelor's degree, you will complete an internship. Internships give you the best opportunities to gain valuable work experience, whilst also exploring and testing a career path. Forward coaches will be here to guide you in your internship searches and engage with partner organisations around the world to identify opportunities for you.
