The Forward College Bachelors

These innovative – fully accredited – bachelors combine a variety of disciplines, forward-looking challenges and leadership development in a way that is highly flexible. Three pathways are available:

  • The Open Bachelor’s is inspired by the US liberal arts education model where students explore freely among all the available courses in year 1 and specialise in a major – and potentially a minor – from year 2.
  • The PPE Bachelor is a combination of Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
  • The PPLE Bachelor is a combination of Psychology, Politics, Law and Economics.
  • These Bachelors are designed and awarded by Forward College, accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and recognised internationally.

FAQ

Forward College is an accredited Bachelor’s programme built on the belief that students need more than academic knowledge to thrive in a fast-changing world. Rather than focusing solely on cognitive skills, the curriculum develops the full range of student intelligences – cognitive, social, emotional, and practical – through small-class teaching (around 15), real-world projects, and campuses in Lisbon, Paris, and Berlin.

Students graduate with a Bachelor’s degree, either awarded directly by Forward College or designed with leading institutions such as the London School of Economics (LSE) or King’s College London and accredited by the University of London.

Students study across three European cities: Lisbon (Year 1), Paris (Year 2), and Berlin (Year 3).

Students study across three European cities, living together in shared residences and learning in small classes, with weekly one-on-one tutoring.

The three-city structure is deliberately pedagogical. Moving cities each year means resettling, rebuilding routines, and adapting to new cultural norms – three times in three years. Adaptability and intercultural communication are not personality traits; they are deep skills built through repeated exposure to the unfamiliar.

The residential community reinforces this. Relationships develop rapidly, no student is left behind, and the shared environment – from seminars to late-night conversations – becomes the training ground for social and emotional intelligence. Relationships are not only the leading factor in happiness, but the necessary fuel for deep learning.

Graduates go on to top Master’s programmes and careers in international organisations, supported by strong academic and professional preparation. Out of half who decide to pursue a Master’s, 76% are admitted in leading universities (Columbia, UCLA, Oxford, UCL, HEC, GeorgiaTech, IE…). The remaining 53% enter the job market directly, joining organisations such as EY, L’Oréal, Amazon, the UN, OECD, as well as startups, NGOs, and government institutions.

Forward College attracts students – and families – who have understood something important: in a world being reshaped at this speed, a prestigious diploma is necessary but not sufficient. You need the degree and the experience that builds the capacity to use it.

The academic credentials are there. Through partnerships with the University of London – including the London School of Economics and King’s College London – students graduate with a recognised, prestigious degree. But most choose Forward College because they want more than a degree. They want three years that genuinely transform how they think, collaborate, and act.

That’s a different ambition. And it attracts a different kind of student.
