Description


Psychology is the driving science behind most digital applications and generates a growing interest from recruiters. Designed by King’s College, this degree will provide you with a contemporary approach to the study of the human mind. You will gain a thorough understanding of human behaviour and learn to apply psychological science to a variety of contemporary and social challenges. There is an emphasis on quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistical analysis with content enriched by the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. With academic direction from King's College, you will:

  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of all the main areas of psychology;
  • Demonstrate the ability to exercise critical judgement in the evaluation of research in the field;
  • Apply a critical understanding of essential concepts, principles and research in psychology,
    and critically evaluate the results, in the context of loosely defined scenarios, using structured
    arguments based in empirical evidence;

2. Combine it with our Bachelor in Business and Leadership

Business acumen and leadership develop mainly through guided practice and reflection, not lectures.

Carefully designed with the support of 80+ top recruiters, entrepreneurs and experts, FORWARD Bachelor in Business Leadership is about turning ideas into reality while leveraging business techniques. This will be highly satisfactory, but much harder than you think!

Year 1: Social Entrepreneurship

Everything starts with an idea: reduce plastic consumption, promote climate-friendly behaviours, support people with disabilities, curb racism, promote access to arts, launch a mentoring programme…

You will team up with 2-3 of your peers based on shared ideals and aspirations. Our Faculty will take you through a step-by-step approach (design thinking) to help you deliver impact.
Along the way, you will gain strong project management skills and acquire a set of core business techniques. Above all, you will be proud of your achievements.

Expected workload: approx. 15h/week on average

Year 2: Digital Entrepreneurship

For this Certificate, you will design and implement a digital solution. During FORWARD Bootcamp you will learn the basics of digital tools and start developing your own expertise in a specific field (coding, digital design, web design, web-marketing, data analysis).

You will team up with your peers and be guided through a step-by-step approach (agile methodology) towards impact.

Expected workload: approx 15h/week on average

Year 3: Consulting in partnership within an international organisation

In year 3, you will work as a consulting team to solve problems submitted by international organisations (NGO, corporate, start up or intergovernmental organisation), partners of Forward College.

Assignments will range from exploring business opportunities for a new product, building a communication strategy, co-designing a new solution or campaign…
You will work with professionals and leverage your project management skills, business techniques and digital experience. Our faculty will guide you through consulting methods and techniques to help you deliver impact for the partner organisation.

Expected workload: approx 15h/week on average

Year 1-3: Developing Your Personality

How to manage stress and anxiety? How to decipher emotions and address them? How to make decisions? How to engage others? How to cope with frustration of failure?... All these challenges lie on the road to positive leadership and well being.
Forward Personal Development Programme supports students in understanding better their aspirations and developing their interpersonal and Intrapersonal Skills through 9 modules:

  • Motivation, growth mindset and resilience
  • Preferences and feedback
  • Stress management
  • Understanding and managing emotions
  • Desires, passion and unbiased decision making
  • Communication and active listening
  • Engaging others and building trust
  • Influence and diplomacy
  • Power, ethics and positive leadership

    Expected working time: 3 to 5 hours/week
