At Forward College, you do more than study abroad, you build a life across Europe. You live, learn and grow alongside your cohort as you move from Lisbon in Year 1, to Paris in Year 2, and Berlin in Year 3.  With students from more than 40 nationalities and a strong focus on personal growth, Forward College equips you with the perspective, adaptability and skills needed to thrive in an international world.

Live a once-in-a-lifetime student journey across 3 European capitals

Our programme is designed to nurture your curiosity and help you build bridges across different contexts. In each of the three countries, you will be asked to engage with the context of the city in which you will be living – through cultural and language classes, field trips, guest speakers, and partnerships with local organisations. Additionally, you will study and live together with your peers from over 40 different nationalities, building a truly international community. As for housing, Forward College partners with student residences in each country to guarantee accommodation for all students.

You move through Europe together

One of the most special parts of the Forward experience is that students move across the three cities as a cohort.

That means you are not navigating each transition alone. You arrive in each new city with people you already know and friendships you have already built. Every new beginning feels exciting, but also familiar.

This is what makes Forward unique: the journey is individual in how much you grow, but collective in how you live it.

A home in every city

In each city, students live in guaranteed accommodation. You have your own space to study and recharge, while also sharing everyday moments with fellow students.

Supported at every step

Moving to a new city can feel exciting – and sometimes a little overwhelming. That is why Forward College helps students through every transition.

  • Before each move
Our team supports students with practical information and guidance ahead of each relocation, so they know what to expect before arriving in a new city (including guidance for Visa applications).
  • Accommodation
Forward College partners with student residences and housing providers in each country and guarantees accommodation for all students.
  • Arrival and integration
At the start of each year, students take part in induction weeks or welcome days designed to help them settle in, (re)connect as a cohort, and get to know their new environment.
  • Ongoing support
Throughout the experience, students are part of a close community and can rely on Forward’s Campus and Wellbeing teams for support, structure and continuity.

Year 1: Lisbon

The beginning of your adventure

You start your journey in Lisbon: one of Europe’s most welcoming and vibrant capitals. Known for its safety, year-round sunshine and close connection to the ocean, Lisbon offers an exceptional quality of life alongside a dynamic and fast-growing international community.

This first year is about discovering a new city, finding your rhythm, and experiencing what it means to be part of a truly international student community. It is where friendships begin, confidence grows, and your journey at Forward truly starts.

Year 2: Paris

Your second year takes you to Paris, one of Europe’s great academic, cultural and economic capitals. By now, your cohort already feels like a community, and the move becomes a new chapter rather than a fresh start.

In Paris, you experience life on a real international university campus, alongside more than 10,000 students from around the world. The campus environment brings a unique energy to your year — with sports facilities, cultural events, student initiatives and social life happening all around you.

It is a year of deepening friendships, expanding horizons, and becoming even more at ease in an international environment — both within your cohort and as part of a wider global student community.
