“I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.”

Pablo Picasso

Entrepreneurship develops mainly through guided practice and reflection, not lectures.

FORWARD Certificates in Entrepreneurship are all about turning ideas into reality while leveraging people engagement, technology and business techniques. This will be highly satisfactory, but much harder than you think!

Our 3 certificates cover 3 entrepreneurial challenges:

Certificate 1: Social Innovation for Impact

Everything starts with an idea: reduce plastic consumption, promote climate-friendly behaviours, support people with disabilities, curb racism, promote access to arts, launch a mentoring programme…

You will team up with 2-3 of your peers based on a common idea. Our Faculty will take you through a step-by-step approach (design thinking) to help you deliver impact.
Along the way, you will gain strong project management skills and acquire a set of core business techniques. Above all, you will be proud of your achievements.

This certificate is offered during the first year of your Bachelor.

Expected workload: approx. 15h/week on average during 1 year

“When you have to deliver something, you dig more.”

Pierrick Chabi, Founder & CEO of Wakatoon

Certificate 2: Digital Innovation

For this Certificate, offered during the second year of your Bachelor, you will design and implement a digital solution.
During FORWARD Bootcamp you will learn the basics of digital tools and start developing your own expertise in a specific field (coding, digital design, web design, web-marketing, data analysis).

You will team up with your peers and be guided through a step-by-step approach (agile methodology) towards impact. Projects will be carried out with a local partner organisation or on an entrepreneurial basis.
While deepening your digital expertise throughout the year, you will broaden your understanding and practice of marketing (market survey, strategic positioning, go to market...) and finance (business planning, budgeting and controlling).

Expected workload: approx. 15h/week on average during 1 year

"Tomorrow everyone will be a digital officer in their own field."

Amelie Oudea, Chief Digital Officer @ Carrefour

Certificate 3: Innovating with International Partner Organisations

In year 3, you will work as a consulting team to solve problems submitted by international organisations (NGO, corporate, start up or intergovernmental organisation), partners of FORWARD COLLEGE.

Assignments will range from benchmarking, to exploring potential for a new product, communication strategy, co-design of a new solution or campaign…

You will work with professionals and leverage your project management skills, business techniques and digital experience. Our faculty will guide you through consulting methods and techniques to help you deliver impact for the partner organisation.

This certificate always takes place in year 3 and requires to take at least one the the 2 Entrepreneurship certificate above.

Expected workload: approx. 15h/week on average during 1 year

“You learn strategy by doing it and you learn it by doing it in a context”
