Rebecca

Second-year student in Paris

Double Bachelor’s in Psychology and Business & Leadership

Germany

Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I am from a small town near Bremen, in Germany. One of the reasons I joined Forward College was the opportunity to study in three different countries, as I wanted to study abroad again after my experience in Ireland during secondary school. Additionally, I was very interested in the field of Psychology and wanted to gain insight into the intricate reasons behind individuals’ behaviours. When I saw that Forward College offered Psychology as part of a Double Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis on hands-on experience, it looked like the perfect opportunity. Outside of Forward College, I enjoy swimming, amongst other sports, because I find it to be a source of calm in my daily routine.

Angela

Second-year student in Paris

Double Bachelor’s in Business & Management and Business & Leadership

Kenya

Hello! My name is Angela and I’m from Kenya. My academic journey before joining Forward College spanned between England and Kenya, which fueled my passion for inter-cultural exchange. I’m passionate about fostering sustainable growth and driving strategic innovation in my home country, so the Double Bachelor’s in Business & Management and Leadership whilst navigating three European cities sounded like the perfect match for me. Alongside my studies, I co-founded The Grad Media, a student-run journalism magazine, with a close friend. Our mission is to provide a platform for student voices, fostering journalistic skills and diverse perspectives. Outside of academics, I’m an avid writer with several pieces published in newspapers, and I’m currently working on a creative project that I hope to publish in the future.

Zsanett

Third-year student in Berlin

Bachelor’s + in Economics & Politics

Hungary

Hello, my name is Zsanett, and I’m from Budapest, Hungary. I’ve always had a diverse set of interests, so when I saw that Forward College offered a programme in Economics & Politics with the possibility of working on personal growth and developing a project from scratch, I was immediately intrigued. I knew that by joining the programme I could explore not just one but two exciting domains of the social sciences, while also focusing on aspects of business and leadership. In my free time, I love to explore the city I live in at the moment, play volleyball, and develop my French language skills.

Sasa

Second-year student in Paris

Bachelor’s+ in data Science & Business Analytics

Montenegro

Hi! I’m Sasa from Podgorica, Montenegro. I completed my secondary education in Devon, UK, studying Biology, Mathematics, and English Literature at A-level. After this, I was determined to continue my studies abroad, and Forward College felt like a great option for me. I’ve always been driven by analytical thinking, so the Bachelor’s+ in Data Science and Business Analytics seemed like the perfect degree choice, allowing me to focus on data analysis, machine learning, and real-world projects in my area of interest. I am sure that this degree programme will help me achieve my goals of driving decision-making and innovation in my future career. Outside of class, you can find me swimming, as it’s a very relaxing break from a busy academic schedule.

Naia

Third-year student in Berlin

Bachelor’s in Psychology

Spain

Hello, my name is Naia, and I’m from Spain. I graduated from my public high school in Madrid where I studied humanities, after spending my 11th grade in the US. I chose to study at Forward College because of its dynamic and comprehensive programme as well as its international approach, which has allowed me to learn from and enjoy many different cultures. I have always been interested in understanding human behaviour, as I believe it is essential to grasp any topic thoroughly; that’s why I chose to study Psychology. Another passion of mine is cinema. I am fascinated by everything that happens both on and off the screen and enjoy learning about directors, writers, actors, and the magic involved in the creative process of making a movie or a play. Additionally, I write scripts, poetry, and songs because I also love music, singing, and playing some instruments.

Théo

Third-year student in Berlin

Bachelors + in Politics & International Relations

France

Hey, I’m Theo, and I’m from France. After graduating from high school, I was certain that I wanted to study International Relations. The opportunity that Forward College offers—studying in three European capitals alongside an international student body and faculty—provides a very international environment perfect for immersing myself in this field. I see it as a well-rounded education that extends beyond the classroom, allowing me to live in different countries and engage with local cultures, meet new people, and discover their perspectives. In my free time, I enjoy listening to live music, playing pool, running, swimming, and cycling.

Madalena

First-year student in Lisbon

Double Bachelor’s in Politics & International Relations and Business & Leadership

Portugal

Hi! I’m Madalena, and I’m from Lisbon, Portugal. Up until last year I attended a French High School, completing my Baccalauréat in Geopolitics, Economics, Sociology and Philosophy. I completed my 8th grade in self-study (CNED) while travelling around the world with my parents. I chose to study at Forward College because I want to surround myself with people that think differently about the traditional education / work system, and that are taking different approaches to achieving big goals – I’ve only just started this experience but I’ve already learned immensely from all the students here. As for my Bachelor’s choice, I feel that an understanding of the institutions and actors that shape our societies is crucial for enacting any change within them. I’m also incredibly passionate about anything on wheels, be it racing formulas, go-karting or antique car rallies. In the future I want to promote the entry of women into such racing series, such as F1 or Dakar.

Amelie

First-year student in Lisbon

Bachelor‘s + in Politics & International Relations

Germany

Hey! I‘m Amelie, and I‘m from Hamburg, Germany. I graduated High School last year, doing my Abitur with a focus on Social Studies and History taught in English. After graduating I took a gap year, during which I travelled, worked, did Internships and volunteered. Growing up bilingual, speaking Spanish and travelling a lot with my parents, I knew early that I wanted to study abroad and participate in at least one exchange programme, hence why I was fascinated by Forward‘s programme of studying in three different countries at once and my choice became easy. Outside of Forward I love to dance, as it makes me feel free and releases any stress I might have, but I‘m also into cooking, spending time with my friends and reading.
