Choosing a university wasn’t easy – I had offers from the Sorbonne, Leiden, and UvA, but what drew me to Forward College was its international approach. Studying International Relations while living in multiple countries felt like the most authentic way to understand global issues. I wanted to be in an environment where international perspectives weren’t just in the curriculum, but part of daily life through classmates from different backgrounds and the experience of adapting to new cultures myself. The academic model also stood out. I was looking for something more engaging than traditional lectures, and Forward’s active learning and small-sized classes really appealed to me. Overall, Forward offered the combination I was looking for: strong academics, international exposure, and a learning environment that encourages curiosity and debate.
