Can finance save the world?

We had the pleasure of welcoming Bertrand Badré to our Paris campus for a talk entitled “Can finance save the world?”.

Bertrand is the Founder and CEO of Blue like an Orange Sustainable Capital, an investment fund that aims to finance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with market-level financial returns. Previously, Bertrand served as the Managing Director of the World Bank and World Bank Group Chief Financial Officer.

During his talk, he shared insights from his career in the financial sector, discussed his book, and delved deeply into the history of economics and finance.
