Philippe Best

Philippe is a Student Career Advisor and Leadership Fellow at Forward College’s Berlin campus and brings with him over twenty years of experience from across the world of education.

Prior to joining Forward College, Philippe worked as a project manager for the International University of Applied Sciences in Berlin where he coordinated marketing efforts promoting continuing education to working professionals looking to further their careers.

Philippe spent the previous ten years in roles that sit at the intersection of management consulting and customer success: previously at ERB, the leading higher education recruitment marketing firm in the USA, he translated the institutional goals of colleges and universities into high-impact marketing strategies; and before that at Educational Records Bureau, a large-scale assessment provider for private and public schools, he helped schools use testing data to improve student outcomes.

He began his career teaching English literature to high school students, a role which allowed him to teach in the USA, Canada, and Turkey.

Philippe holds a Master’s degree in English and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Northern Arizona University.

Philippe enjoys continuing to master the French mother sauces, reading contemporary German literature, and riding his bike along Berlin’s forest trails.
