Celine Chalard

Celine grew up in a small village in central France, always wanting to see the world so it’s no surprise that since her teenage years, her life has been punctuated by back-and-forths between her homeland and overseas. She has lived in the United Kingdom, Bahrain, and Hong Kong, where she spent the majority of her teaching career working for French International Schools holding several positions during her time including English department coordinator, MUN director, form tutor, and staff representative.  

She then put her teaching expertise at the service of highly gifted international students in the Bachelor program of Ecole Polytechnique, one of the top scientific institutions in France. There she coached and supported more than 200 students in making (sometimes life-changing) decisions.

A firm supporter of gender equality, she was also the staff’s liaison officer in matters of gender-based discriminations and sexual violence. Access to education and empowering the youth being her main purpose in life, she works as a mentor to young people from isolated rural areas of France to this day.
