We welcomed Dr. Julian Wucherpfennig, Professor of International Affairs and Security at Hertie School Berlin, for a talk entitled ‘Do search and rescue operations increase migrant crossings in the central Mediterranean?’. Julian presented his research project, which has garnered significant attention and has been featured in more than 150 newspapers worldwide.
