Clubs & Associations

Student governance committees have the responsibility of representing all students in matters. The committee members are elected yearly on each campus. All majors are represented and all majors committee leaders will meet with the respective coordinators from the staff. At least one formal meeting per semester is held to discuss areas of representation across campuses.

Student clubs at Forward College are designed by and for the students. They are a key aspect of the Forward College student experience as the creation, governance, decision-making and budget management are all student-led. Student committee members have oversight to ensure the clubs showcase the core values of integration, community and change-making at the heart of life at Forward. On occasion, staff administration also supports and/or funds some clubs’ projects and activities.

A club to enjoy the best that Lisbon has to offer: sunny days and beaches. This club organises surfing lessons for beginners and trips to the beach to enjoy the waves while fostering a sense of community.

 A club for students who enjoy art, history, and culture. Members visit museums, explore exhibitions, and discuss the stories and ideas behind artworks and artifacts.

A space for movie lovers to watch, analyze, and discuss films from different genres, cultures, and time periods. Activities often include screenings, discussions, and creative projects.

 A club for music fans who love live performances. Members attend concerts together, discover new artists, and share experiences around different music styles and events.

A club for runners who want to enjoy their runs while prioritising safety. It facilitates a buddy system for running around the residence, ensuring members’ safety by providing companionship. The club also organises the participation of runners in local competitions.

The goal of the club is to build a community of students interested in bouldering and climbing, whether to improve their physical fitness, enhance their mental well-being, or simply be part of a social group.

The photography club captures the Forward Experience through the lens of their cameras. With regular photo-walks and other activities, students can explore a new city alongside a creative hobby, creating a balance to the academic life at Forward. 

The travel club turns students’ wanderlust into unforgettable adventures: This club explores the cities students live in and plans different trips to nearby locations or even other European cities. 

The goal of the club is to foster socializing and building connections among students by playing board and/or card games.

This club was created to share delicious recipes and foster a sense of community.

The dance club was created to reinforce the feeling of community, moving our body in a fun and de-stressing way, trying out different dance styles.

This club creates a connection between advanced padel players and newcomers, encouraging everyone to improve their health through a fun sport! With the equipment provided by Forward college, the club goes on regular training sessions to different courts around the city.

The goal of the club is to discuss financial phenomena and larger trends shaping the markets, as well as explore the different asset classes and the way they are implemented.

A think tank dedicated to dialogue, critical thinking, and impact-driven research. It creates a space for open, reasoned exchange and moral ambition through three core activities: Solution Talks on global challenges, a Debate Society focused on eloquence and rhetoric, and Research Projects that turn ideas into publishable policy or academic work. Its goal is to help students think precisely, speak confidently, and act responsibly.

A club set up to foster a greater sense of community and collaboration for the whole cohort, with regular activities promoting togetherness in a relaxed and informal way.

We hope to provide an avenue for cultural expression and instill a greater sense of cross-cultural exchange and understanding through meaningful cultural immersion and collaborative service projects to foster learning, appreciation, and social impact in the Forward community

 A creative club centered on luxury, lifestyle, fashion, and culture. Members contribute to a journal through writing, photography, and visual storytelling while exploring trends in the luxury world.

 A club focused on community service and cultural connection. Members volunteer locally while sharing and learning about different cultures through events, discussions, and exchanges.
