Parnika, Class of 2029

Parnika is a first-year student pursuing a Double Bachelor’s in Data Science & Business Analytics and Management & Leadership at Forward College. Originally from India, she spent most of her life in the cycle of school, academics and exams before deciding to take a gap year. That year gave her the chance to explore who she was outside that routine, gain real-world experience and figure out what she truly wanted to do.
While still in high school, Parnika got involved in organising events and building student communities. These experiences showed her how much she enjoys bringing ideas to life and creating things that bring people together. She is also drawn to interdisciplinary learning and the chance to explore subjects beyond a single field. For her, that can mean discovering something completely new or applying what she learns to real-world problems to create a positive impact.
Why did she join Forward College?
Parnika didn’t want a traditional degree where she would only learn things in theory. She was looking for a place where she could develop practical skills and see how her studies apply to the real world. Forward College offered that combination of academics and hands-on learning. It also offered the opportunity to live in different European cities and meet people from many backgrounds and perspectives, which made it the right fit for her.
Looking ahead
Over the next three years, Parnika is looking forward to learning from the people around her, experiencing different cultures and making the most of everything the programme has to offer.
